Volunteers Wanted!
The 12TH ANNUAL TIM BRAUCH MEMORIAL SKATEBOARD CONTEST in conjunction with SESSIONS is looking for volunteers to work at this weekend event. We are looking for people who can be our parking attendants, work the raffles, and help with set-up and take-down. The contest is being held on Saturday, October 2nd at the Scotts Valley Skate Park in Scotts Valley and on Sunday, October 3rd at the Lake Cunningham Regional Skate Park in San Jose. This contest is part of the World Cup of Skateboarding and is bound to bring out the legends and the pros of skateboarding, as well as draw big crowds. This is a great volunteer opportunity!
A little about the contest…
Tim Brauch, a Sessions team rider, was always true to his roots as a skateboarder and possessed a positive attitude that did nothing less than inspire friends, family, and the community around him. Tim’s untimely passing in 1999 at the age of 25, led Sessions to create the Tim Brauch Memorial Fund, which donates 100% of its funds towards skateboard park development and scholarships.
